TOOLtime: Dozuki and BabeBot

Dozuki and BabeBot | Work has slowed down a bit due to rain and cold weather. Thought I would just mention my two favorite new tools: Japanese pull saws and the BabeBot glue bottle. The Japanese saws cut on the pull stroke rather than the push stroke (as most Western saws do) and they have a very fine blade for doing very precise cuts. I have two of them: one is a Dozuki (the one on the top in the picture) and is very nice for all types of trim cutting. The other one is a Ryoba double sided razor saw with two different teeth counts - one for doing rough work and the other for fine work.My other new favorite is the BabeBot glue bottle. This company makes two versions the GlueBot (large) and the Babebot (small). The small size is perfect for luthiery. The bottle is designed for easy squeeze out of the right amount of glue with no dripping or clogging.
